Great list. I have to agree nearly 95% on this one. I would however not take Bioshock ou tof the picture completely. That game was and is awesome even if it short and has little replay value.
This stuff has gotten way to far out of hand. It's sad enough that the world has to live with and deal with fanboys but for them to make headlines for this is beyond me. I say that they both go under as a favor to us real gamers that do not take this stuff so seriously that we form defense forces and protection groups...

I don't think I can make my request any more simple. This game will be a great experience as we all know ND has never let the gamers down. Maybe Drake will become the next Lara for the PS systems but without Eidos to mess it up. I can only hope that time passes fast so I can get my hands on this title.

Indeed. I downloaded a few movies on my Xbox 360 and then started buying BD's for my PS3. WOW! What a difference. It's the difference in 6mbps when compared to 24+ mbps. It will have limited emulation BC like the 360. Even at that rate it will still play thousands of titles from the PSone and PS2 platforms. This is only good news for those who wanted a PS3 and could not or would not afford one. Now it's a good buy at one of the least expensive BD players and a great gaming console with many extras.

I wonder if in fact this big bang is more for the general public and not the hardcore fans that read sites like this. Most will not understand what is going on and the casual gamers will not care about the big bang but the general public will run to get their hands on the PS3 at 400 bones.

You have to remember that in the recent months, Sony went through some changes in their leadership over the PS3. Perhaps the changes we are seeing are based on another mans vision for success. Kutaragi had a different vision and now that vision is gone. In comes the new vision and success may seem more around the corner than it did for the company before. It's not a shock to see it if in fact there is a price drop and another SKU coming.

There’s no denying that the PS3 is a great buy for those that want an entertainment hub. You get it all in one small package at a small price for the product you get. I have the 60gb model and have the card slots, WiFi and such. This game is on my list of must have titles for sure. ND has never let me down before and this one looks to be more of the same... GREATNESS. The 06 render looks good and was a good benchmark but the 07 in game footage looks "ama-za-zing"!!!
There will always be fanboys and there will always be console wars. Not by my choosing of course but we all know it’s inevitable. However, I just look for the silliest of them all and have a good laugh at times. Granted if they get out of hand it can ruin good topics but heck, as long as we have to live with them we might as well get something out of it… Like a good laugh.
